في روايته الجديدة يقدم لنا الكاتب منصور بوشناف سرداً توثيقيا للتغير السياسي والاجتماعي في ليبيا من خلال اسقاط اسطورة تحولات الجحش الذهبي للوكيوس ابوليوس على تاريخنا المعاصر ويقدم لنا من خلال شخصية الكلب (ليبيتشيو) الذي يمسخ أو يسخط إلى إنسان والذي يواجه صعوبة في التأقلم مع وجوده الآدمي والتعامل مع التغيرات الثورية والدرامية التي يعيشها مع غيره من المتحولين والممسوخين. إنها رواية تكسر الحاجز بين الكاتب والقارئ وتضعنا في مواجهة مستمرة مع كينونتنا ووجودنا البشري.
